Brief Description:
With camera in hand, I hold the power to capture, create and communicate. As a photographer, I strive to capture moments and visions of beauty that I experience. Beyond capturing, I have the responsibility of communicating that vision of beauty because it means almost nothing if I am the only one who sees it. The wonders I find in life are always more enjoyable when there is someone to share them with.
I have come to learn that my camera has an eye of its own and it never captures things quite as I see them. Thus, I am forced to creatively interpret my images while acknowledging that remembering and experiencing are often not the same. I dream and reflect upon my experiences sometimes very vividly and sometimes very vaguely compared to reality itself. My tendency to explore the realms of consciousness and reality has led me to embrace the technique of time exposures. The very nature of a time exposure questions the reality of moments and whether I am capturing them or creating them.
